Vera
Her family died in a winter storm when she was very young.
She grew up by herself, with no elfin companionship. Having both
wolfrider and plainsrunner blood she has gained the unique ability
to bond with almost any animal, these animals have become her
family. She has learned to survive on her own, with the help of
her companions, and may have a hard time adjusting to the busy
life of Wildwood Holt. She speaks some language, but , she is
more comfortable sending in the language of animals- vivid pictures of ideas
and needs. Vera is remembering the lessons of archery from her father and
is showing remarkable ability with the dagger. She will make a fine
huntress! Although often quiet, Vera is playful and very easy to be around,
with her soft talkings and singings. Having been captured many times by
both trolls and humans, the brutality shown to her has caused her to be
distanced and quiet about her past.
She has recognized SnowOwl and had a cubling named Zip. She had been
plagued by unknown health problems which may stem from SnowOwl's past
with tainted Magic.
